Tools That You Will Need

Here is a couple things to keep in mind when you get a Roll On Bottle. Make sure to get one with a Stainless Steel Ball. Amber is the preferred color of the bottle to protect against sunlight.

Even Carrier Oils have different properties. When developing an Essential Oil Blend, it is best to look at the Carrier Oil to make sure it is the best Carrier Oil to use in your blend/oil.

The “Star” of the Roll On are the Essential Oils. Select only the BEST Oils to get the BEST Results! We offer a Great selection of High Quality Essential Oils.

In Short Essential oils should always be diluted.

  • 0.5% for infants 6-24 months: 1 drop of essential oil to 10 mL (=2 tsp) of carrier oil
  • 1% for elderly or facial application: 3 drops of essential oil to 10 mL (=2 tsp) of carrier oil
  • 2% for daily use: 6 drops of essential oil to 10 mL (=2 tsp) of carrier oil
  • 5% for short term use: 15 drops of essential oil to 10 mL (=2 tsp) of carrier oil

As a General  Rule, when making a blend for a Roll On you can use many Essential Oils, each should be no more than 5% of your overall Roll On.

Please consult with an aromatherapist or medical professional before using essential oils on children under two years of age. Hot oils such as Cinnamon, Clove Bud, and Oregano should be diluted to 0.5% and should not be used on children under 10 years of age.
